Practis for music teachers

Teach music between every lesson, not just during them.

Your students practice. They log it, leave notes, attach recordings. You see all of it before the next lesson — without ever asking. The first ten minutes of every lesson get sharper because you walk in knowing exactly where to start.

Every student you invite gets Practis Pro free for as long as they’re yours.

The loop

Teaching is the thing that happens between two practice weeks.

Most of what makes a lesson great isn’t the lesson — it’s knowing what actually happened at home since last time, and giving the student something specific to come back with. Practis is the soft tissue between those two moments.

Your student opens the app and practices. You open the app and see it. Before the next lesson, a quiet prep view tells you which pieces got attention, which got ignored, which are stuck. Afterwards, you leave a recap. It lands in their hand within seconds and shapes what they do tomorrow morning.

What your students get

Every student you invite gets Practis Pro. Free. For as long as they’re yours.

You don’t have to sell them on a separate plan. When they accept your invite, they get the full app at no cost — and you keep the visibility that makes lessons actually move forward.

  • A practice diary with smart, repertoire-aware suggestions for what to play next.
  • Structured assignments with section, tempo, and technique focus — no vague homework.
  • Recordings, deadlines, mood notes, and the same clean tracking everyone else pays for.

What this changes

9 in 10

Practis users tell us they practice more consistently since joining. When you bring your students in, that’s the habit you’re teaching on top of — not something you’re still trying to build from scratch.

The notebook they were keeping in their head finally lives somewhere.

Before Practis, half of my lesson time disappeared into asking: 'So, what did you actually practice this week?' Now I can see their practice notes, recordings, and goals before the lesson even starts. It makes the first ten minutes of every lesson sharper.

My students finally stopped treating practice like a vague homework assignment. I can give them three concrete focus points after each lesson, and they actually see what to work on when they open the app at home.
Sayaka Inoue
Director, Atelier Hibiki · Tokyo
Half my Sunday used to be remembering. Now I open Practis, see what each student touched during the week — who's hitting their goals, who's stuck on bar 17, who hasn't sat down in five days — and I walk into Monday already knowing where to start.

FAQ

Honest answers to honest questions.

Do my students need to pay for anything?

No. Every student you invite gets Practis Pro free for as long as they have an active connection with you. They get the full app — practice diary, repertoire tracking, smart suggestions, recordings — at no cost to them.

What happens if I outgrow my plan?

You can move up to the next tier in two clicks from your account settings. We don't kick anyone off mid-month — you have until the next billing cycle to upgrade.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, in both directions. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

What if I teach at a music school?

The Academy tier is built for that. Multiple teachers under one roof, custom onboarding, and billing that fits your institution. Get in touch and we'll talk specifics.

Can my students keep their data if I stop teaching them?

Yes. A student's practice history is theirs. If your connection ends, they keep their diary; they just lose the Pro access that came with being your student.

Is there a free trial?

Your first month is free on every paid tier, no card surprises. You can cancel inside that window with no charge.
